Choose the Format

• Framed: Despite the higher cost, our framed option is by far the most popular choice. Each frame is custom-built for the art using the highest quality wood molding. The reproduction itself is printed on archival photo paper with a 13-color giclee printer to provide unmatched color quality. The print is then mounted to a 1/8” thick coated high-density fiberboard and then sealed behind a UV-protective laminate that is rated to protect from UV degradation for a minimum of 115 years. The laminate effectively waterproofs the print, removes the need for glass, and can be cleaned just like glass. Because there is no glass covering the print, there is little to no glare to obscure the art.

• Float: Like the framed art, our float-mounted art is created with the same photo paper, printing technique, and UV-protective laminate. However, it is meant to be displayed without a traditional frame as it has a box frame hidden behind the image which contains the hanging mechanism (French cleat). When hung the art will appear to be floating apart from the wall by about 3/4”, thus why we call it a “float” mount. In the case of the float mount, the print is mounted to a coated 3/8” high-density fiberboard with a beveled black edge that gives the art a completed look.
