Choose Artwork
FAQ Points to Consider
Unless you already have a work of art in mind, with classical art, particularly sacred art, there should be two primary questions you ask yourself
when choosing pieces.
1. What are some of the major themes you recognize in your life that you would like to emphasize? This may take some thought and prayer but is well worth the effort. If you are the only one that frequents a particular space, the themes may be specific to you and your life at present. If you’re looking for art for a family space or other public space, a good practice is to emphasize and encourage themes common to that larger community.
2. Do the works you’re considering awaken and inspire your heart? There are thousands upon thousands of truly beautiful works of art and thus there are many that will address the particular life theme or themes you’re seeking to address. Find artwork to which your heart noticeably and affirmatively responds.
